1. Data Collection & Analytics

We collect information to provide a better experience for our users:

• Account Information: We collect your name and email to manage your subscription.
• Internal Analytics: To provide customers with performance metrics, we track visits and engagement on each StarSheet. This data is collected for functional purposes only; we do not use third-party tracking pixels or marketing analytics (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel).
• Cookies: We use persistent cookies solely to maintain your login session. We do not use cookies for retargeting, advertising, or cross-site tracking.

2. Artist Data & Localization

To ensure high-speed performance, StarSheet localizes and caches public artist data (including views, follower counts, and streaming metrics) from third-party platforms.

• We do not require users to connect their private third-party accounts (OAuth) to source this data.
• This cached data is used strictly to render your Showcase and provide you with historical insights.

3. Fan Data & Subscriber Modules

Our platform allows you to collect information directly from your audience. Regarding this data:

• Role: You are the Data Controller; StarSheet is the Data Processor.
• Storage: All data is stored securely on servers located in Canada via Web Hosting Canada.
• Future Integrations: If you choose to connect third-party email services (such as Mailchimp or Salesforce), your data will be subject to the privacy policies of those respective providers.

4. Data Sovereignty & Transfers

Because our servers are located in Canada, your data is protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). For users in the EU or UK, Canada is recognized as providing an "adequate level of protection" under GDPR standards.

5. Payments

All payments are handled by third-party processors. StarSheet does not store your credit card or full financial details on our servers.

6. Data Rights & Deletion

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Upon account closure, StarSheet will purge all account and subscriber data within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
