Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the web-based software platform and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by StarSheet ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an artist, band, company, record label, or other organization (an "Entity"), you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority to bind that Entity to these Terms. In such cases, references to "you" include both you individually and the Entity.
2. The Service
The Service provides tools that allow users in the music industry to create, manage, and present information and links related to artistic works and professional activities.
The Service is provided as a tool only. We do not provide legal, financial, business, or professional advice, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome, exposure, or commercial success.
Certain features may update automatically based on information provided by you or retrieved from third-party platforms you connect to the Service. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party content or data.
3. Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscriptions and Payment
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing, billing intervals, and available plans will be presented to you at the time of purchase.
- No setup fees are charged.
- All fees are non-refundable, and all sales are final, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
5. User Content
5.1 Content You Provide: You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
5.2 Your Responsibilities: You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the User Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights. We do not claim ownership of your music or creative works.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, upload content you do not have rights to use, or interfere with the security and integrity of the Service.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party platforms (such as streaming services or social media). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, or practices.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, text, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.
10. Disclaimer & 11. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, StarSheet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StarSheet from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
